    Nine formats, any direction

    Convert iPhone HEIC to JPG, PNG to WEBP for a faster website, JPG to PNG for editing, or any image to ICO for a site icon. Photos are turned the right way up and colours are kept.

    Transparency

    PNG, WEBP, AVIF and GIF keep transparent areas. JPG and BMP can't store transparency, so those areas become white.

    Which format is best for websites?

    WEBP or AVIF: they are much smaller than JPG and PNG and work in all modern browsers.

    Is converting lossless?

    Converting to PNG, TIFF or BMP keeps every pixel. JPG, WEBP and AVIF are saved at high quality (90).
