    Why won't my iPhone photo open?

    iPhones save photos as HEIC to save space. Many Windows computers, websites and forms don't accept HEIC, but every one of them accepts JPG.

    Yes, up to 100 at a time; they download together in a ZIP.

    How do I stop my iPhone saving HEIC?

    Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible makes the iPhone save JPG instead.

    Is quality lost?

    JPG is saved at quality 90, which looks the same as the original.
