    When to choose PNG

    PNG keeps every pixel exactly, so it's the better choice when you'll edit the photo further or place it in a design. For sharing and uploading, JPG is smaller.

    How it works

    Why is the PNG so large?

    PNG is lossless, so photos take more space. Use HEIC to JPG for smaller files.
