    From cm to pixels

    At 300 DPI, 1 cm is about 118 pixels; at 200 DPI about 79. Type the size in cm and the DPI, and the pixels are calculated and the DPI is saved in the file.

    Common sizes

    Passport photos are often 3.5 × 4.5 cm; signatures for some exam forms 4 × 2 cm or 6 × 2 cm. Always use the size in your notice.

    How to resize an image in cm

    1. Drop your files in the box, or paste an image.

    2. Choose cm, type the width and height, and set the DPI.

    3. Press Resize and download the result. Your files are deleted from the server straight away.

    What DPI should I choose?

    Use the DPI your form or printer asks for. 300 DPI is standard for printing; many online forms accept 200.

    Will the photo be stretched?

    Not unless you tick Stretch; otherwise it keeps its shape. Use Crop first to get the exact shape.
