Common CTET upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 100 KB
CTET refuses a photo above 100 KB (the allowed range is 10–100 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 55 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The CTET photo should be 3.5 × 4.5 cm (138 × 177 px at 100 DPI). A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 30 KB
CTET refuses a signature above 30 KB (the allowed range is 3–30 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 16 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 3 KB

Not a real JPG
The CTET portal takes JPG files. iPhone photos are HEIC and screenshots are PNG, and renaming a file to .jpg doesn't convert it. Drop the original into the tool: it always saves a genuine JPG.
