Common REET upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 100 KB
REET refuses a photo above 100 KB (the allowed range is 20–100 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 60 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The REET photo should be 3.5 × 4.5 cm (276 × 354 px at 200 DPI). A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 50 KB
REET refuses a signature above 50 KB (the allowed range is 10–50 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 30 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 10 KB
A clean signature on white paper is often only a few KB, below the 10 KB minimum for REET. FitMyKB raises the quality first and then adds invisible padding, so the file reaches 10 KB without changing how it looks.

Not a real JPG
The REET portal takes JPG files. iPhone photos are HEIC and screenshots are PNG, and renaming a file to .jpg doesn't convert it. Drop the original into the tool: it always saves a genuine JPG.

Tips for REET
REET is run by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, separately from RPSC and RSSB, and its limits are looser: the photo can be 20–100 KB. The same 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo works for both if you keep it at 50–100 KB.
