    Common TNUSRB upload errors, and the fix

    Photo over 50 KB

    TNUSRB refuses a photo above 50 KB (the allowed range is 20–50 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 35 KB rather than right at the limit.

    Wrong photo size or shape

    The TNUSRB photo should be 3.5 × 4.5 cm (276 × 354 px at 200 DPI). A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.

    Background isn't plain white

    TNUSRB wants a plain white or light background. A coloured wall, curtain or room behind you can get the photo rejected at verification, weeks later. Turn on White background and it's replaced for you.

    Not a real JPG

    The TNUSRB portal takes JPG files. iPhone photos are HEIC and screenshots are PNG, and renaming a file to .jpg doesn't convert it. Drop the original into the tool: it always saves a genuine JPG.

    TNUSRB checks the same photo against you at the physical tests and the certificate verification, so use a recent photo taken for this recruitment, not an old school one.
