Common TGPSC upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 50 KB
TGPSC refuses a photo above 50 KB (the allowed range is 20–50 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 35 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The TGPSC photo should be 275 × 354 px. A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 30 KB
TGPSC refuses a signature above 30 KB (the allowed range is 10–30 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 20 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 10 KB
A clean signature on white paper is often only a few KB, below the 10 KB minimum for TGPSC. FitMyKB raises the quality first and then adds invisible padding, so the file reaches 10 KB without changing how it looks.
