Common WBPSC upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 100 KB
WBPSC refuses a photo above 100 KB. Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 80 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The WBPSC photo should be 3.5 × 4.5 cm (138 × 177 px at 100 DPI). A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 20 KB
WBPSC refuses a signature above 20 KB (the allowed range is 10–20 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 15 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 10 KB
A clean signature on white paper is often only a few KB, below the 10 KB minimum for WBPSC. FitMyKB raises the quality first and then adds invisible padding, so the file reaches 10 KB without changing how it looks.

Not a real JPG
The WBPSC portal takes JPG files. iPhone photos are HEIC and screenshots are PNG, and renaming a file to .jpg doesn't convert it. Drop the original into the tool: it always saves a genuine JPG.

WBPSC sizes are given in centimetres at a low 100 DPI. Keep the signature between 10 and 20 KB; a scan straight from a phone is usually far larger and must be compressed.
