Common PPSC upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 40 KB
PPSC refuses a photo above 40 KB (the allowed range is 10–40 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 25 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The PPSC photo should be 140 × 177 px. A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 40 KB
PPSC refuses a signature above 40 KB (the allowed range is 10–40 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 25 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 10 KB
