Common JPSC upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 50 KB
JPSC refuses a photo above 50 KB (the allowed range is 20–50 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 35 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The JPSC photo should be 275 × 354 px. A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 20 KB
JPSC refuses a signature above 20 KB (the allowed range is 10–20 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 15 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 10 KB
A clean signature on white paper is often only a few KB, below the 10 KB minimum for JPSC. FitMyKB raises the quality first and then adds invisible padding, so the file reaches 10 KB without changing how it looks.

Background isn't plain white
JPSC wants a plain white or light background. A coloured wall, curtain or room behind you can get the photo rejected at verification, weeks later. Turn on White background and it's replaced for you.
Not a real JPG
The JPSC portal takes JPG files. iPhone photos are HEIC and screenshots are PNG, and renaming a file to .jpg doesn't convert it. Drop the original into the tool: it always saves a genuine JPG.
