Common CGPSC upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 100 KB
CGPSC refuses a photo above 100 KB (the allowed range is 30–100 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 65 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The CGPSC photo should be 275 × 354 px. A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 50 KB
CGPSC refuses a signature above 50 KB (the allowed range is 20–50 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 35 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 20 KB
