Common GPSC / OJAS upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 15 KB
GPSC / OJAS refuses a photo above 15 KB (the allowed range is 10–15 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 12 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The GPSC / OJAS photo should be 3.6 × 5 cm (142 × 197 px at 100 DPI). A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 15 KB
GPSC / OJAS refuses a signature above 15 KB (the allowed range is 10–15 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 12 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 10 KB
