Common UPSSSC PET upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 100 KB
UPSSSC PET refuses a photo above 100 KB (the allowed range is 50–100 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 75 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The UPSSSC PET photo should be 3.5 × 4.5 cm (276 × 354 px at 200 DPI). A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 50 KB
UPSSSC PET refuses a signature above 50 KB (the allowed range is 30–50 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 40 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 30 KB
