Common CUET UG upload errors, and the fix
Photo over 200 KB
CUET UG refuses a photo above 200 KB (the allowed range is 10–200 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 105 KB rather than right at the limit.
Wrong photo size or shape
The CUET UG photo should be 200 × 230 px. A photo in a different shape gets squashed or refused, so crop it to that shape before shrinking; the tool above does both.
Signature over 50 KB
CUET UG refuses a signature above 50 KB (the allowed range is 10–50 KB). Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so compress it to around 30 KB rather than right at the limit.
Signature under 10 KB
A clean signature on white paper is often only a few KB, below the 10 KB minimum for CUET UG. FitMyKB raises the quality first and then adds invisible padding, so the file reaches 10 KB without changing how it looks.
Background isn't plain white
CUET UG wants a plain white or light background. A coloured wall, curtain or room behind you can get the photo rejected at verification, weeks later. Turn on White background and it's replaced for you.
Not a real JPG
The CUET UG portal takes JPG files. iPhone photos are HEIC and screenshots are PNG, and renaming a file to .jpg doesn't convert it. Drop the original into the tool: it always saves a genuine JPG.
